I have finished making the first large window, here is a section of it. It is a bit grubby as I have just put the cement on and havent cleaned it yet. Off to the school tomorrow to do some glass painting with the children!

yesterday I went back to the hospital for the unveiling of the light boxes and welcome window. Im glad to say that the work was very well received and I was really pleased with the final result.T

I’ve been working on this window, for Middleton Tyas School. The painting has been fun, I have stencilled a paper doiley to try and get a lacy look on the girls dress, and the boy is going to have a smart tweed jacket!

More mosaic

I have just finished running 2 days of workshops at Great Longstone Village Hall.  We had a great time, loads of people from the village came along to add their mark and we have made a beautiful mosaic piece for the hall.  Its great because its unique and has been created by the community.  We are going to grout it at the weekend and “unveil it” next weekend.
